An IIM Indore alumnus, Prof. Shameem holds a Ph.D. in Finance & Accounting and is renowned for his scholarly contributions and practical insights at IIM Visakhapatnam. His extensive experience spans academia and industry, with robust expertise in Corporate Finance, Financial Analytics, and Start-up Financing and Valuations.

Dedicated to education, he has delivered over 1,000 hours of teaching at premier institutions and has been trained at Harvard Business School in advanced teaching methodologies. At IIMV FIELD, he has significantly advanced entrepreneurship, securing funding from public and private entities, and mentoring over 150 startups through various stages of growth.

His strategic vision and research have shaped innovative management Programme, particularly for the BFSI sector, preparing professionals for a dynamic digital economy.

Prof. Kaveri Krishnan, as faculty of IIM Visakhapatnam, brings a rich blend of academic and industry expertise to the table.

With a Ph.D. from IIM Bangalore, her work delves deeply into credit rating effectiveness within India, exploring regulatory impacts and rating determinants.

Her industrial stint of three years, coupled with six years at IIM Visakhapatnam, endows her with a practical approach to teaching and research.

Prof. Krishnan’s courses in Corporate Finance and Risk Management are informed by her extensive research in Credit Rating, Corporate Finance, and Investments, making her an asset to the programme and its participants.

Mr. S. S. Mallikarjuna Rao is a distinguished banker with a 35-year tenure culminating as the MD & CEO of Punjab National Bank. An alumnus with degrees in Science and Law, and a Certified Associate of the Indian Institute of Bankers, he embarked on his banking journey with Bank of Maharashtra in 1985. His extensive career includes leadership roles at Allahabad Bank, Syndicate Bank, and Oriental Bank of Commerce, among others. Mr. Rao played a pivotal role in the historic amalgamation at PNB, establishing it as a leading public sector bank. His expertise spans various banking sectors including credit, IT, recovery, and risk management. He's also served on various boards and committees, contributing significantly to the banking industry's evolution.

Prof. Amit comes with a varied industry experience of more than eight years and teaching experience of more than six years. After he graduated from Jadavpur University, he started his professional career in a start-up firm. Subsequently, he completed his MBA from the Indian Institute of Management Bangalore in 2004 and joined a retail consultancy organization, KSA Technopak. Later he joined Indian Oil Corporation Ltd, where he completed assignments in retail sales, corporate communication and consumer sales. He returned to academics after completing his PhD at the Indian Institute of Management Calcutta. As part of his academic assignments, he worked at the Indian School of Business Hyderabad and TAPMI before joining the Indian Institute of Management Visakhapatnam. He is one of the founding faculty members at the IIM Visakhapatnam. Recently he completed the Global Colloquium on Participant-Centered Learning at the Harvard Business School. Prof. Amit regularly publishes in international journals and participates in leading management conferences worldwide. His research interests lie in ownership and its influence on strategy and firm performance. Dr. Amit is faculty in the area of marketing at IIM Visakhapatnam. Prior to joining IIM Visakhapatnam, he was associated with IMT, Ghaziabad as Assistant Professor. He has obtained his Ph.D. in Marketing from Vinod Gupta School of Management, IIT Kharagpur. He has academic experience of 5 years working with renowned Institutes. Prof Happy Paul holds a Ph.D. in Organizational Behavior from IIT Roorkee with a focus on constructs of positive psychology. He is in academics for over a decade now and has active interest in understanding personalities, group dynamics, leadership competencies, employees’ attitudes and behaviors. His work has been published in reputed national and international journals. He has previously worked as Associate Professor and Associate Dean (Academics) at T A Pai Management Institute (TAPMI) Manipal. Before that he was with IIM Jammu and Graphic Era Deemed University. He has designed and delivered over 100 hours of Leadership Development training to the working professionals of companies like Indian Oil Corporation Ltd, Mangalore Refinery and Petrochemicals Ltd., Rotary Club, Erstwhile Syndicate Bank, and Canara Bank. Kalyan Kolukuluri is a PhD (Economics), Indian Institute of Management, Bangalore. His PhD dissertation, looks at the efficacy of public insurance in smoothing consumption during episodes of health shocks. The setting of his study is in developing countries which traditionally lacked formal insurance. His thesis explores an interesting outcome of expansion of formal insurance, namely, strengthening of informal mechanisms, due to lower individual risk. His work also explores the impact of insurance coverage on health care use and positive health outcomes for dependent children. An underlying theme in his research has been to understand the interaction between public schemes and its beneficiaries. His broad research interests lie in empirical evaluation of public support programs in various domains. Currently, he is engaged in the study of programs related to health and in empirically understanding the nature of risk and insurance for households. Prior to his doctoral degree, he did his Master’s degree in Public Policy from SDA Bocconi, Italy and has an undergraduate degree in Engineering from the National Institute of Technology, Jalandhar.
